What is it like to be a "Little Ophthalmologist"?
Follow along and take a look!
[First Stop: Dressing Up as a Little Doctor]
Children put on white coats and transform into little ophthalmologists, officially beginning their internship journey!
[Second Stop: Myopia Prevention and Control Science Class]
As a little ophthalmologist, do you know how to protect your eyes scientifically?
Aier Eye Hospital’s optometry specialists explain in a fun and engaging way—covering daily study habits, diet, and eye care practices—so children learn about eye health while having fun!
[Third Stop: Learning CPR]
CPR isn’t just for medical professionals—it’s a life-saving skill everyone should learn.
After detailed explanations and demonstrations by medical staff, the little doctors quickly get into the swing of things. With guidance, they practice CPR and learn how to call for help and dial 120 in an emergency.
[Fourth Stop: Visiting the Eye Health Science Education Base]
Filled with curiosity, the little doctors explore the optometry department’s Eye Health Science Education Base in an orderly manner. Through hands-on experience with optical science tools, they learn about the entire process of medical optometry—discovering just how much goes into getting a pair of glasses at the hospital!
[Fifth Stop: Vision Check]
Under the arrangement of the professional medical team, the little doctors undergo basic naked-eye vision tests and computerized optometry. Each child receives their own personalized "report card."
[Sixth Stop: Little Doctors "On Duty"
The moment to test their learning—and one the children eagerly anticipate—has arrived!
Under the guidance of optometrists, the little doctors personally operate vision testing and computerized optometry equipment. Watching them skillfully operate the machines, conduct vision checks for their parents, and even successfully assist their peers is absolutely heartwarming!
[Seventh Stop: VR Experience]
In this immersive session, VR devices are combined with visual training software to create a fun, game-like experience. Children enjoy visual training in an engaging virtual world.
[Eighth Stop: We Graduated!]
With this, the "I Am a Little Ophthalmologist" Eye Health Research Camp comes to a successful conclusion!
To celebrate the outstanding performance of the little doctors and their completion of all training and practical tasks, each participating child receives an "Excellent Little Doctor" honorary certificate. What a rewarding experience!
