In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, deepen the complementary advantages of party organizations, and promote the high-quality development of medical-school cooperation, on the afternoon of May 15, the Party Branch of Dongguan Aier Eye Hospital and the Party Branch of Dongcheng No. 1 Primary School jointly held the "Millions · EYE" faculty and staff eye health care activities, and held a signing ceremony for the party building and co-construction agreement to jointly explore the innovative practice path of grassroots party building.

In his speech, Secretary Huang Peiyu highly affirmed the professional support provided by Dongguan Aier Eye Hospital in the early cooperation. She said that the theme party building and co-construction activities of health services into the campus are not only pragmatic measures to practice the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, but also an innovative practice to deepen the joint construction of schools and enterprises and serve the needs of faculty and staff. By improving the eye health of faculty and staff, we can enhance their quality of life and help teachers devote themselves to education with more energy. She expects the two sides to popularize health knowledge through school-enterprise linkage and enhance the awareness of eye health protection among teachers and students in the process of implementing the party building and co-construction project.

He mentioned that Dongguan Aier Ophthalmology has always adhered to the concept of paying equal attention to social responsibility and professional development, especially focusing on the visual health and myopia prevention and control of primary and secondary school students in Dongguan, and has done a lot of work in providing eye health examination and file building services for about 140,000 primary and secondary school students in Dongguan every year. He said that in the future, the two sides will deepen cooperation in many aspects, focusing on the two core needs of "student vision health management" and "prevention and treatment of eye diseases for faculty and staff", and work together to protect the "eye" color vision of campus groups through diversified forms such as health education and public welfare screening.

Subsequently, under the witness of all the participants, the two sides officially signed a party building and co-construction agreement, clearly based on the principle of "organizational joint construction, resource sharing, and service linkage", and promoted the quality and efficiency of party building work through measures such as pairing assistance, health science popularization, and volunteer service.

After the meeting, the Party Branch of Dongguan Aier Eye Hospital organized a professional medical team to bring ophthalmic testing equipment to the campus to provide public welfare eye health screening services for all faculty and staff. The examination items include vision testing, dry eye syndrome assessment, glasses cleaning and dry eye SPA fumigation experience.

Ophthalmologist Cai Minzhi combined the test results to provide one-on-one guidance on the common problems of eye fatigue and high myopia among teachers, and popularized scientific eye protection knowledge. At the event site, a number of faculty and staff said that this activity not only solved the actual health needs, but also corrected the misunderstanding of daily eye protection, and deeply realized the importance of "prevention is greater than cure".
