On January 22, the Dongguan Municipal Health Bureau issued the “Notice from the Office of the Dongguan Municipal Health Bureau on Announcing the Results of the 2025 Evaluation and 2021 Re-evaluation of Dongguan's Key (Specialty) Clinical Departments.” Following rigorous evaluation and multiple rounds of assessment by the Bureau, the Ophthalmology Department of Dongguan Aier Eye Hospital has been officially designated as a Municipal-Level Clinical Key Specialty in Dongguan! This recognition stems from its solid disciplinary foundation, cutting-edge technical capabilities, robust talent pool, and significant societal value.

This honor not only signifies authoritative acknowledgment of the hospital's ophthalmology achievements but also marks a major milestone in its eleven-year journey of dedicated, high-quality development.

Since establishing its presence in Dongguan in August 2014, Dongguan Aier Eye Hospital has evolved over eleven years into a large-scale tertiary specialized ophthalmic hospital integrating medical services, teaching, research, and academic activities.
