With over 30 years of clinical experience in ophthalmology, he is a seasoned expert in refractive surgery, cataract, and vitreoretinal surgery. He has pursued advanced training at Charité Medical University of Berlin in Germany, Innsbruck Medical University in Austria, and Essen University Hospital in Germany. Since 1995, he has mastered cataract phacoemulsification surgery, making him one of the early experts in China to acquire this technique. In 2007, he pioneered the introduction and application of the German BIOM3M wide-angle lens for complex vitreoretinal surgeries in Guangdong. In 2015, he was the first in Dongguan to perform phakic intraocular lens implantation. In 2019, he was honored with the "Global ICL 1000" and "Global TICL 500" awards at the ESCRS in Paris, France (only 22 individuals worldwide have received this recognition). In 2023, he was awarded the "EVO ICL 3000 (2023)" international award.
