With nearly 20 years of experience in clinical ophthalmology, he specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of eye conditions such as cataracts and glaucoma. He is particularly skilled in cataract diagnosis and treatment, femtosecond laser cataract surgery, phacoemulsification, the implantation of various high-end intraocular lenses, and glaucoma surgery. He has performed over 20,000 phacoemulsification procedures, and his team has completed more than 3,000 femtosecond laser cataract surgeries. He possesses extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of complex and challenging eye conditions.

In addition to his daily clinic and surgical duties, he is regularly invited to primary-care hospitals across South and Central China to conduct standardized training in phacoemulsification for cataract surgery and provide hands-on instruction in femtosecond laser surgery. Each year, he organizes or serves as the keynote speaker for more than 10 national and provincial continuing medical education programs; At the same time, he actively engages with communities, enterprises, and public institutions, conducting public health outreach lectures under the theme “Blade-Free Cataract Surgery: Optimal Vision Throughout.” Over the past five years, he has delivered more than 60 public lectures on eye diseases affecting the elderly in Dongguan and surrounding cities, reaching a cumulative audience of over 100,000 people both online and offline.
